Nick Caputo is a Senior Analyst at Kingdom Ridge Capital Nick Caputo in White Plains New York. He has focused on technology stocks for over fifteen years.
He enjoys traveling whenever he can, and fondly recalls a trip to Italy’s Tuscany region, which he visited with his father, who grew up there. “Was the first time my dad returned ‘home’ to the town he grew up in over forty years,” he says. “It was special to be able to witness the excitement he had, to hear his stories from growing up, and to visit with his cousins who still live there.”

Tuscany is located in the central region of Italy, and is home to some of the most famous and recognizable art and architecture in the world, including Michelangelo’s “David” and works by Leonardo da Vinci. It’s the largest region in the country and draws some ten million visitors every year.

“We rented an amazing villa which had its own pool and great panoramic views of the countryside,” Nick Caputo recalls. Ate well on the entire trip, as you can imagine.I also did a lot of wine tasting.”

The region’s capital is Florence, and he made sure to stop there to see the sights. “But the best day trips were to the smaller towns, and walking around and experiencing the local shops, architecture and restaurants.”

Nick Caputo has been with Kingdom Ridge Capital since 2007. He is a 2000 graduate of Boston College, where he majored in finance.
